Just heard from an MSNBC talking head: Iraqi Parliament is going to
'take a break' during July/August. :wow:

Why are we there again, how many people will die in those months, and are we really there for a finite time to help, or does this indicate the Iraqis think we'll be there forever? That was hard to wrap my mind around. Thoughts?

2. Members of Parliament now have the means to get away from Iraq in the especially not summer months.
Hell, they can barely get up a quorum on most days! And Bush seems helpless to get them to make the tough political decisions necessary to effect some kind of political solution to quell the civil war.

5. And there's word that the surge will be assessed in September
Let me just say that I feel for all those who will be fighting bush's war this sumer in Iraq. Do they have plans for those two months and fear retaliation?

9. Yes, September is the month the rethugs roll over, but how many
people have to die before then? I'm sickened. Again.

11. As far as I'm concerned every death is unnecessary
The problem is that those who began this have as little regard for the actual lives they're destroying as they would for pieces on a Risk game board.

I'm sickened with you.

10. Wow Just Imagine...
Just imagine, FDR letting the Congress to take a break during the WW2 or Washington listening to the acting Congress that they will take a few months off... Where would we be now? Iraq is Iraq, there is nothing we can do to change that. If they want to take a break.. let them. Meanwhile, we are shouldering the burden, as well as the normal Iraqi citizens are. Its time for them to become leaders in Iraq not puppets for Bush. As they get millions of our tax payers dollars and go on vacation, and average of 60 Iraqi citizens die for something no one seems to understand. O well that's Bush's progress...
