Clinton To Receive Endorsements From New York's Top Dems

May 14, 2007

New York's top Democrats are getting behind Senator Hillary Clinton's bid for their party's presidential nomination.

Tomorrow in Albany, Clinton will officially receive endorsements from Governor Eliot Spitzer, Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli, and Senate Minority Leader Malcolm Smith.

The governor has said she represented New Yorkers well and has "values and strengths that will make her an excellent president."
