They all preach intolerance of views different from their own,
and they denigrate individuals with those differing views.

3. I agree -- they all want a theocracy where people with beliefs different

from their own would not be citizens, maybe imprisoned or killed. Yep, very similar.

4. Here's an interesting story...

I once asked the resident RW troll on another board to provide a list of the social issues on which his viewpoint differed from that of the "Islamofascists" he professed to so despise. After much bloviating and dodging of the question, it became clear that he couldn't name a single one.

The only difference between these fuckers is the team name on their T-shirts.

...try it on your favourite resident wingnut. Aside from the obvious, arbitrary labelling difference - ie "Christianity should rule the world" versus "Islam should rule the world" - they've got nothin'. Sure is fun watching them tie themselve in knots trying to think of an answer - or, more usually, change the subject.

Limbaugh & Robertson profit from the sacrifice of others.

Bin Laden gains more notoriety and a bigger following when
he misuses the idealism of youth to carry out great atrocities.

On one episode of Robertson's TV show that I watched, he all
but says "send me a $20 and god will give you what you need".

The lowest common factor of those three is much higher than that, though.

Denigrating someone on account of their views is *not* comparable to denigrating them on account of (insert obvious option of your choice here). Many views are bad.
