How many people have seen/plan on seeing 'Sicko' this weekend?
Edited on Fri Jun-29-07 04:31 PM by TeamJordan23
I thought it was a great movie. How many people are planning on seeing it this weekend?

Although I am supporting Obama, I really believe we need Kucinich's single payer universal not-for-profit health care plan in the USA.

12. Opens in OKC in 7/3. Going on 7/4
Nothing more patriotic than seeing a movie about our country.

Then we'll go watch stuff blow up, unless it is STILL RAINING.

13. My husband and I will go Saturday early show
AMC theaters are playing it in the Pittsburgh area. The bridge construction won't stop us, either, cause we'll take the long way to get to that theater. Big improvement over the last time Michael Moore's movies played, and you had to go to the out of the way artsy theater to see him.

I understand there will be some folks wearing blue shirts who will be distributing from a MoveOn.org e-mail prompt flyers to talk up the issues of this movie. I will stop short of doing that. I figure if you're in line at the AMC mega plex and you're not seeing SICKO, then you're probably no likely to be interested in the flyer.

I think I'll just do some of my own signs elsewhere- just the title, "SICKO" should be left in the high volume traffic place of Mr. & Mrs. John Q. Public American.

17. Just walked in the door from seeing it....
...It was great. But you will leave feeling sad, scared, frustrated....among other things. And perhaps wondering what other country you should move to.

18. I'll go tomorrow. This is the most important weekend to go...
if you care about whether the media spins the movie as being successful or not.

This film is amazing. I really hope all americans see it. It is very important and I'm hoping it will be the turning point in finally getting us the universal healthcare we deserve.
