Demand Accountability: Russ Feingold

Demand Accountability

Millions of Americans agree that the time has come to demand accountability from the President and his administration. The two censure resolutions that Senator Feingold proposed will hold the President, Vice President, and the administration responsible for the destructive path down which they've taken our country. The White House can no longer be allowed to shred the constitution, and thumb their nose at the American people, at every turn.

could choose your senators, than Russ Feingold?

He's one of the true-blue ones if you ask me.

10. When Clinton was impeached, all Democratic Senators but one voted for acquittal. Guess which one.

11. You must assume that I'm a one-issue voter.
I'm not.

I'm familiar with Feingold's votes in the Senate.

2. Russell Feingold not only is a terrific senator, he is a great illuminator.
His commitment to excellence requires of his colleagues that they be at their best, too.

Loud hurrahs from my house for Senator Feingold.

4. He's afraid of the terrorists. He has more important things to do than to defend the constitutiton.
Besides that, he's dandy!

5. Not sure who you're talking about. It certainly isn't Senator Feingold.

6. I'm talking about "censor" Fiengold. The man who wants to say bad things about
the terrorists, instead of remove them from power, per the constitution.

I knew who you meant.

8. My focus is on our country and constitution. Not on "other more important "
things.

9. Very frankly I don't find your citizenship to be superior to Sen. Feingold's.
And you're much more judgmental to boot.

12. People hold citizenship who love bush. That's a fact. And my or Feingolds citizenship
isn't more important than theirs.

Just because Feingold is too whimpy to do more than offer to say mean things about bush doesn't reflect on his citizenship but rather on his priorities.

Which aren't the country or the constitution.

I think he's put his party and the 2008 elections as his top priority. And saying mean things about bush in a censor motion, is par for the course on those priorities.

He won't get any help from me in 08. Maybe the Repos who oppose impeachment will help him out. They should. They agree with his stance.

support from his constituents.

One clue to this is that such support is not casually granted but genuinely earned.

I support Feingold. If you want "wimpy," I suggest you tune in to Bill Kristol's next television appearance.

You just can't beat Bill Kristol for wimpy.
