I don't want all this rhetoric, spin or beating around the bush (no pun intended). I want honest, down to earth answers that people can rationalize and compare to their own situation. I've been hearing a portion of this fantasy from Kucinich and Gravel, and Biden's been too busy raising his motherless children. But the others are still trying to cover their asses.

Seriously though, don't you think that when they're presented with a yes/no question that they should answer with a yes or no, THEN give their reasons why? I can't stand ANY politician from whatever party (although the Repukes are very, very good at this), when they answer like it's an open ended question. :grr:

2. Even worse is when they are asked a question by a person in the audience,
standing at the microphone right in front of them, and they decide to answer a question that was posed to a previous candidate "first" instead. It is RUDE. It is WRONG. And, it seems EVASIVE.

But, indeed, as YES or a NO to start off an answer would be awesome!

4. Here are some questions I want YES or NO answers to...
1) Will you privatize Social Security?

2) Will you repeal NAFTA?

3) Will you withdraw from the WTO?

4) Was your vote for (IWR, NAFTA ...) a mistake?

5) Do you support single-payer healthcare?

These are for starters....

6. I don't think we need to be engaging in hypotheticals, but in general,
I would state that "yes" or "no" could be appropriate answers to the question of "Who's with me" depending on the context. All options should be left on the table.
