Should Clinton win her party’s nomination, and it is looking like she will more and more each day, the only thing Clinton will need from the left is additional GOTV efforts and, of course, their votes - neither of which they will withhold. Why? Because YOU need a presidential victory to seal your status as a serious political movement.

That's why I take all the “I will not vote for her under any circumstances” rhetoric that seeps from the left with a grain of salt. The netroots have looked forward to this presidential election for several years and they’re not about to let it get away. Like the rest of us Democrats, you will fight for Hillary Clinton in 2008. You have to. If you sit out this campaign as many have threatened and throw a winnable election to the GOP, it will be the death knell of your political movement.

And KOS, Arianna Huffington, David Sirota, and YOU know it.

19. Actually, some of us will vote for her if she is the nominee but many will not work for her.

Many of us have local campaigns that we will be working on as well and simply will not find the energy to devote to the presidential campaign that we would if it were another nominee.

Is she? Is Obama? What are they doing NOW to make sure we don't go to war with Iran, or to make sure not one more penny is used for Bush's faux war. Is Clinton or Obama ready to lead when it comes to impeachment?

Pretty easy to talk about leading in the future ~ but there's precious little Congressional leadership NOW.

They are 30 second campaign ads, not policy papers.

18. Actually both those ads have more substance than this Hillary ad.The first is

obviously"personal" and is about a wife and husband.Elizabeth sharing her feelings.She is the "witness" for John's good qualities as it were .
The second commercial deals with philosophy and challenges the American people.At least Edwards indicates his philosophy and how it would be implements, by the inclusion of the people..Hillary talks about change for changes sake!
I am sorry but I do not feel Hillary's commercial was that good.They have the money to do much better.JMHO.

The 2nd was such boiler plate I actually flashed to the Simpsons when aliens pose as Clinton and Dole and issue speeches ripping off famous past political speeches.

Like I said, they are 30 sec ads, I am not looking for serious substance.

You have to say a lot in 30 sec.And some ads are better than others.Hillary's soprano ad was actually more "solid' and a much better ad.Of course it was longer.I am sure they will do better.This was not as impressive.It was one dimensional.
