Because YOU were the one who kept on digging.
  Everyone knew the story. It was the top of the news. But you didn't stop there. You researched it and found something that maybe no one knew.

Because you kept on digging.

  So thanks. Because I can't dig for the deeper meaning in every story. But you took the time to fill in the blanks. Took time to fill in the blanks that I didn't even know were blanks. And cast that article, that bit of news, in a fresh light.

Because you kept on digging.

  When people like you do the digging, it's because you're curious. And curious folks is what we need more of in this country. Your curiosity is contagious and I hope you infect us all.

And all because you just couldn't stop digging.
