I was sitting in the car with three of my friends smoking a nickel bag and we are discussing the state of the nation. We agreed the nation was fucked if the Republicans held the White House in the coming election. Some of us even talked about moving to Canada if the Democrats lost. Then we realized we had to graduate from high school first.

Oh, the year was 1975.
