Terry McAuliffe was just on my local news channel......
He said that Hillary was the only candidate to beat all the republicans in national polls. Is that true?

3. I don't think so.
I haven't seen all the polls (and maybe not the latest ones) but iirc, she beat them with the widest margins but Edwards and perhaps Obama beat them all, too. I could be wrong.

5. I seem to remember reading several polls in which
other candidates also beat the republicans. If there is a most recent poll in which only Hillary does this, it seems like I would have read about here.

8. Terry 'your are
unAmerican if you don't believe in insider trading' McAucliffe. What a guy and he is H.C.'s big fundraiser. He made like, $15 million before the demise of WorldCom.

7. Giuliani remains fairly popular in New Jersey, which has been in modern

times a fairly reliable blue state.

I want Edwards, or Obama, or Biden, or Richardson, or Dodd running at the top of our ticket in New Jersey against a popular Giuliani in a head-to-head general election.

I think Terry's bias understandably tilts his declaration in this polling instance. He knows as well as we do that the polling can be "adjusted" to provoke different outcomes and impressions, and that polling at its most reliable is not invariably correct, and that at its best, reliable polling is the very last manifestation of public opinion, which changes very quickly in the quarter of a year prior to the primaries and can do so dramatically.

12. I'm aware of that.
I wasn't aware that that absolved him from telling the truth.

14. Exactly.
And the two local "journalists" interviewing him were so over their heads. Their questions were sophomoric. Of course they were unable to do any follow up.
