1. Becaue it worked out so well for Fred Thompson?
I realize that this has become an expectation for candidates (presumably to show their "human side") but I don't see what it adds to a campaign other than free PR.

4. he gave so much air time to the Gropenfuher during the recall is was sicking and conveniently
Leno's show had spanish subtitles that you could not get rid of, i called the cable company and asked them about it and they said they weren't aware---yeahhhhhright.

6. I'm gonna admit it... watching Leno is my guilty pleasure
His monologue is much better than Letterman's, and he usually has better guests too (although Letterman did have Hillary, who is far more interesting than Obama IMO).

7. Colbert is on when Leno starts, Letterman comes on at 11:00, we have a weird
tv schedule here. Conan i like but can never stay up long enough to see him.
