1. I always thought being a Neocon (there are quite a few decent conservatives) was alot like...

...being a spoiled 5-year old deep, deep inside. And so the whole world is frightening and stealing things from you and so the only "logical" recourse is to lash out, try to control as many people as possible and take, take, take.

  A long time ago I wouldn't have believed that anyone over, say, 25, could function with broken psycho-emotional mechanics at that low level. But I have seen enough to know I was wrong.

4. 3 types of Repubs

As a former Republican, I've noted 3 primary types of Republicans:
1) Neocons, who believe that the military is the solution to every problem
2) Bible-thumpers, who believe God/Jeebus is the solution to everything
3) Chicken shits who are libertarian but are more worried about preventing a Democrat from winning an election than voting on principle for a third party candidate (who might be a spoiler)

*Disclaimer: I'm an anarcho-libertarian, but I hang out a bit here because I like all the anti-war, pro-civil liberties stuff.
