Swamp Sunrise: Senate Homeland Security holding hearing today on the results of 2001 anthrax scare
It's about time!

Good morning.

Here are a few Washington items of note for Tuesday, October 23.

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee is holding a hearing on the results of the 2001 anthrax scare.

President Bush is speaking at the National Defense University’s Distinguished Lecture Program.

The Poker Players Alliance is hosting a Washington lobbying effort to try to win legislative approval of the game as one of skill rather than chance.
