Rasmussen Favorables/Unfavorable for the Big 3.
Edited on Thu Nov-08-07 03:01 PM by rinsd
Fav Unfav

Edwards 46 47

Obama 48 50

Clinton 50 49

Note that although Hillary's numbers match up with most other polling, Rasmussen shows Edwards and Obama with much higher unfav numbers than other polling.

2. This shocked me as well. Maybe going hard on Hil drug him down.
I sure hope this is an aberration. I am planning on voting for Edwards.

5. Are you referring to the five different positions
he has taken on the undocumented workers/drivers identification?

13. No. But if he has, it reinforces my decision.

I am in a teeny minority who supported Hillary's K/L vote when I still supported Edwards. I thought the slam against her vote was weak. IMO Congress shouldn't stop doing their job because of what junior MIGHT try and twist into something else. I feel his "fool me once" tack was wrong. I thought he was genuinely opposed though, so I overlooked it.

I was referring to his Clinton hit video after the last debate where they use (legitimate enough) sound bites to make her appear to be double-talking when he knew exactly what she was saying. I have no problem with any of them making claims about the merits of their own positions vs someone elses, but once they start distorting the truth to try and gain ground, they lose me.

4. Edwards 57% unfavorable? Why so low?
And he loses to Rudy: Edwards (44%) Giuliani (45%)

10. Makes perfect sense to me.
Hillary and Obama supporters are pumping up Edwards unfavorables.

Hillary and Edwards supporters are pumping up Obama unfavorables.

Edwards and Obama supporters are pumping up Hillary unfavorables.

We see it every day on DU in polls. Why not in real polls?

11. Rasmussen seems to always have too many republicans in his samples
(Since he always has Bush about 8% higher than everybody else does)

Looks like he is "pushing" undecideds, which is why these numbers are different from most. (There is no way 98% of anybody has a meaningful opinion of Obama, for instance.)

None of our candidates numbers are really this bad, but these numbers are useful in comparison to each other.

this poll doesn't seem that accurate, I won't believe much of it until I see correlating poll data.

None of the big three's unfavorables, including The Hill, are that high in other polls...
