MSM meme Bill Clinton calls Dem opponents Swiftboaters.

DU reacts - http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x3690654

Truth comes out - http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x3696313

MSM meme - Hillary Clinton, an obvious phony who hates the little people, failed to leave a tip for the subject of one of her anecdotes about working poor.

In addition to the Hillary examples, we have some numbskulls bitching about Obama and his hand over his heart for the anthem or wearing a flag pin or whatever other BS that the MSM lies to us about that we then get all "outraged" over.

We are better than this.

1. And Edwards haircut, and Biden calling Obama articulate, and Kooch's UFO...
It never ends, but wee continue to fall for it when it reinforces our preconceptions.

The Hillary bashers always take the bait and imagine the worst about her majesty Hillary (yes, I am deliberately tweaking them here lol)

And when they are proven wrong (as usual) do they offer apologies? No, just more vicious and fraudulent attacks on the beautiful and sexy Hillary.

8. Yep. Maybe we're not better than they are.
Of course, that depends on whether we unite after this slander season and support our candidate, whoever it is.

But we are field a slate of EXCELLENT people. It is absolutely wrong to slander them the way some have been doing here. We disagree in details. But nobody running as a Democratic candidate for president is Satan.

11. It's unfortunate that people don't recognize that as a universal truism -
as opposed to them thinking it is only true as far as their candidate is concerned. This problem with the MSM is pervasive and not confined to any particular candidate, however, despite knowing that, it is often perceived as either grotesquely unfair or used as ammunition against an opponent.

6. I am in total agreement
Many take the bait so easily and we wind up eating our own. All the candidates have been victims of this type of behavior and this is very discouraging.

I also believe we are better than this.

12. I agree. And also calling candidates "first" or "second" tier like the MSM does
I thought progressives looked at everyone on the same level? Does money and name recognition matter here that much as well?

15. The swiftboating meme was true, no matter how many want to
spin it away. Plus, Wes Clark, a Clinton surrogate, repeated the meme independently.

As to NPR, I think they honestly screwed up. The waitress was mad (and SHE did not receive a tip), and the reporter admitted in the subsequent report that he should have checked with the campaign to find out what happened. However, if you recall, Obama mentioned wanting to write a note for someone's brother and didn't get to do it. We all accepted that, and nobody went to his campaign to ask whether he would consider doing it after the fact, and so forth.

I don't think NPR is biased against Hillary. Seriously.
