Edwards Questions if Clinton will Actually "TURN UP THE HEAT" ?
from email:

EDWARDS QUESTIONS IF CLINTON WILL ACTUALLY “TURN UP THE HEAT”

Chapel Hill, North Carolina – Today, Senator John Edwards released the following statement:

“The war in Iraq isn’t even history yet, but the Bush Administration is repeating the march to war with Iran – and they’re getting help from a person who should know a lot better – Senator Clinton.

“On Saturday at the Iowa Jefferson Jackson dinner, Senator Clinton unveiled her new campaign slogan to ‘turn up the heat’ on the Republicans.

“Well, somebody will have to tell me how you ‘turn up the heat’ by voting with Bush, Cheney and the neocons on their path to war with Iran. Because I don't believe that's turning up the heat – I think that's giving them exactly what they want.

“Senator Clinton had her chance to stand up and she chose not to use it. Our nation needs leaders who have the strength and backbone to fight the president on his march to war with Iran – not quicken the pace.”

2. Edwards lying again as usual
Condi Rice just said that Kyl-Lieberman is not an authorization for war and never could be used for one.

5. That's right
If there was any chance Bush was ever going to use the resolution there's no way and hell Rice would have said it doesn't apply.

7. If Rice said IWR was not an authorization for war
then I'd bet the farm they wouldn't use it.

Logic, not the same YouTube of Hillary as a response to everything, Logic. Logic is they wouldn't have said Kyl-Lieberman didn't apply if they ever wanted to use it. Can you respond to logic with logic?

10. Edwards wasn't fooled
He made a "mistake" on his "vote". In other words, things in Iraq didn't turn out for him quite the way he envisioned them. To put an even finer point on it, he supported IWR because he figured it would help his political ambitions, and now he's speaking out against Iran because he figures it will help his political ambitions. Principle, vision, morality or wisdom has nothing to do with it; it's pure self serving expedience.

9. You had your chance "to stand up" too, Johnny.

You were Mr. New Democrat all the time you were representing a conservative state. Then, in 2004, you had your shot on the campaign trail. In fact, you were sitting across a table from Dick Cheney on national television during what was supposed to be a debate, and you just grinned and smiled and played aw-shucks, as you ran a toothless charisma campaign.

Yeah, but now you've seen the light. Just like you have every other time the wind shifted.
