Tinfoil time, This week they catch a group selling uranium, now a plane goes down with
a renowned nuclear physics professor and a six-week-old baby, due to meet her grandparents for the first time, were among the 57 people killed when a plane crashed in southern Turkey early Friday(CNN).

Any connection?

1. Quite possibly. Its dangerous to know WMD tech in general...
...do you remember when all those biological weapons guys turned of dead? And to be a nuke scientist in the middle east...Well, that's almost asking for it these days.

As far as your question though, I doubt there is a direct connection. Though perhaps it made some people a little more aware of the threat.
