Hillary did today in Des Moines. Perhaps you should troll around for that video clip instead.

5. You take every opportunity to go after Obama
Do you know ONE thing about his background? His life?

I find it amazing that people take such toxic positions against candidates they know nothing about.

I challenge you to read only the "Kenya" chapter in his book "Dreams from my Father" and tell me that you don't respect his intellect, his outlook on life gained from his experiences and his ability to analyze cultural differences based upon his own diverse, multicultural heritage. His life experience goes much deeper that the years spent in Indonesia as a young child. While others may have traveled the world as a tourist or even sheltered as a first lady, Obama has an entire family in Africa. His african family is not privileged. Some lived in poverty, sharing a two room apartment with many family members, other lived in shanty towns on the outskirts of Nairobi. Obama has spent time with "real people" in foreign lands. These experiences clearly change your perspective on life and what is important and helps you to gain an understanding that actions have consequences.

To try and suggest that african americans at the Apollo would somehow boo him off of the stage just proves that you know nothing about the man. Just as those who knock Edwards because he is a trial lawyer forget about his struggles as a child from a family of modest means who went on to make something of himself, but also felt the tragedy that crosses all lines of affluence when he lost his son.

Life experience is what qualifies you to lead. Not privilege. Not grabbing onto the coattails of others to gain higher office.

6. It's a great book...got me through two 15-hour flights to China and back!

a Republican pundit on C-Span last week said "Dreams" ranks as one of the best American coming-of-age books ever written, and that it will be read by students and others in this country for the next 100 years.

10. wonderful commentary
Thanks for sharing that. It may not have been received by the intended audience, but there is so much more to Barack Obama than people here bother to know. His background is incredibly diverse.

13. That was great!
I think Chris Rock would do more for Obama than Oprah. Everybody loves him and knows him to care about politics and to say exactly what he thinks. I'm really glad to see him come out for Obama and I hope he does more as the primaries get closer. Cornell was incredible, what a speaker.
