Obama Supporters - Be positive
The only logic I can see in Hillary's mudslinging is that they plan on trying to get Obama to respond so John Edwards can take first in Iowa. The other option is that Team Clinton has just lost it. Either way the best tactic is to stay out of the mud pit, stay focused, and respond kindly.

It is sooo damn hard not to post some comments from less than a month ago to slam Clinton supporters but we need to refrain.

Hopefully Hillary can find her voice again and focus on serious issues.

1. Hey, rufus dog, I'm with you on that.
I feel absolutely elated right now. It is so absurd to exchange personal attack over which candidate you support. Jeez, they're all Democrats for crissakes. Reminds me of the Beatles vs Stones question. Oh, that would be Beatles, of course. :)

2. It's a beautiful moment. It's like Hillary's campaign
is starting to fold in front of Obama's surge.

5. Unless the plan is to drag Obama down in Iowa with them
A risky strategy no doubt, but I can't figure out why she is hitting him on these points. Again, I hope she gets back on track.

6. Dont hold your breath
Recent history on DU indicates many are congenitally incapable of being positive

10. Being positive is easy in the face of Hillaryous moments. However, we will defend Obama against lies

And a well-placed sarcastic smackdown or two never hurt anyone.

BTW, Obama is too smart to mudsling -- I have no worries on that. And Team Clinton has lost it, everywhere. ;-)

11. responding to lies is a must!
As far as Team Clinton, I have a hard time believing they are that bad! The actions today and her comments are just illogical. It was a stressful weekend for her so maybe she was overstressed.

Regarding Team Clinton: Those of us who have watched Meet The Press on a regular basis will recall that several months ago, Tim Russert said on one of the political panels he hosted that the Clinton camp was really worried about Obama. He said that the Clinton camp saw Obama as a thoroughbred waiting to break out of the stable, and that if he did, that would be a disaster for Hillary. Well...on a progressive show called "Make it Plain" on Sirius satellite radio the other day Russert was a call-in guest, and he said, "Obama, the thoroughbred, has smashed his way out of the stable, and the Hillary campaign is in disarray."
