3. no "next move"-- my ONLY move is to not vote for HRC, ever, period....
I don't care what she does from this point out. HRC will never get my vote.

Well, never unless she repudiates her support for the war against Iraq, takes back all the neocon foreign policy propaganda she's parroted, pledges support for single payer universal health care reform, works to impeach the war criminals Cheney and Bush, pledges to arrest the war criminals and ship them off to the Hague, works to revoke corporate personhood, etc. Hell, those sorts of changes would make my NEXT move unconditional support for the Hillster.

Otherwise, no.

14. So democracy is only YOU deciding everything?
The majority vote of your party (should it be Hillary) will be nothing to you?

Because, which candidate is it, WILL give you everything you want? Is Obama going to do these things? Is Edwards? Will you vote for them for president? If so, why only the woman candidate is too too terrible?

Can't wait for your answer.

24. Not a gender thing
If the "right" woman was running, I would vote for her. I voted for three women in my state for congress, in the senate and the house, it does not matter what gender she is, it matters what she says, or in Hillary's case, doesn't say, about the issues.

It also matters who one conducts themselves in the race. Going back to "kindergarten" and the third grade to attack Obama just doesn't really cut it with me! I am not an obama supporter, but come on kindergarten?????????

No, it's the "person" I vote for, and she just won't be getting my vote. Not because she is a woman, but because she is "NOT" the right candidate for the nomination.

...with MY vote. No political party controls my BIRTH RIGHT. Democracy is the sum of individual political action, not the lockstep march of party voterbots.

That is my answer.

4. My guess is there'd be a lot fewer "Hillary Haters" if Hillary supporters acted less like pricks.
If you really want to know the answer to your question, you'd help your candidate win in Iowa. Your agenda instead seems to be taunting over the internet people whom you'll never meet in the real world.

Is your life really that empty that this is how you spend your spare time?

irrational hatred. Maybe if you'd stop doing that so much, we could see the truth instead.

what a concept. This whole op is flamebait designed to castigate anyone who doesn't support your candidate.

how irrational is that? why do we have to be loyal to YOUR candidate? are you loyal to anyone else's?

Anyway, the body of my comments focused on the original poster not all of Clinton's supporters. It was a dumb, useless post designed to taunt and divide, rather than discuss the election. The poster needed to be told so and so I did.

25. I see your point.
Edited on Wed Dec-05-07 07:55 PM by Bucky
The body of my message singled out the OP as an individual. When I first tried to word the subject line (which is where I use the plural "supporters") I orginally used the singular. But that left my subject line too long to fit in the number of characters I needed for the singular construction. So I edited down the verbage in the headline to make my whole point fit there. It's a fluke of the English language that plurals take up less space.

I assumed that the direct personal address in the body of my post would make it clear I wasn't going after all Clinton supporters. I was wrong. I didn't use the word "all", but I should've worded it more clearly.

they always post these litmus loyalty tests about their OWN candidate. As if we are required to be loyal to THEIR candidate.
if they really want to conduct a loyalty test, the question should be "what will WE do when our candidate doesn't win?"

10. Why do you have to use the childish "Hillary haters" garbage?
Do you understand politics? If someone prefers another candidate, do they HATE the others? In most cases, no.

What would be my "next move" if Clinton won Iowa (which she will place third or fourth in)? I'd continue to do what I could from a grassroots level to make sure Obama won the next states. What would people who support other candidates do? Hopefully, they would do the same thing.

Stop with the "hater" card. It's tacky.

> Why do you have to use the childish "Hillary haters" garbage?

When the facts are on your side, argue the facts.
When the facts aren't on your side, argue the law.
When the law isn't on your side, argue personalities.

Thus, we get to "Hillary haters".
