Finally decided...
I want Edwards.
Second choice Biden, Third Choice Obama.

Took me a long time,
For the record...I'm in NC so (shrug) I'm not familiar so someone may want to help me out a little but from what I understand in 2004 NC had 107 Delegates?

I'm embarrassed to say this, but I want to caucus and it will be my first time. If anyone could point me to a NC site to learn how and where and when I would appreciate it.

Also, alot of the people I know that have been undecided are considering Edwards as well. They love his passion, and his willingness to admit when he's wrong. The majority of them are either Edwards or Obama, moving between the two. Many of the ones that were Clinton leaning are rethinking, because of a very small thing she said "It will be me". They don't want to be told who they are voting for, and they feel that tells more than anything about her character.

So, (sighs) here I am... and I want to be involved.

11. California is a primary state but we will
caucus in April to select delegates to the convention. Any candidate getting over 15% of the vote gets delegates & the caucus elects those delegates.

So Mother of Four needs to contact her local party office to see how NC delegates are chosen....there just might be a caucus in her future.

2. Congratulations! You made an excellent choice. And the question about Clinton's character is a good
one.I believe the quote you reference says a lot as do her votes! I would suggest contacting your State Democratic Party.I am sure they can direct you as to caucus info.It may even be on their website! Good Luck!

8. I googled it...
Here...

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/11/26/eveningnews/main3540666.shtml

(start quote from bottom of article)

“No,” Clinton said. “At the end of the day, it's among us as candidates. People will make their judgments. I’m proud to have my husband support me. It's wonderful to have someone with his knowledge and experience and incredible ability vouch for me campaign for me.”

"If it's not you, how disappointed will you be?" Couric asked.

“Well, it will be me,” she said.

But she said she would stand behind any other Democratic nominee, if it came to that. “We're going to have unified party, behind whoever we nominate.”

Clearly, she has considered the possibility she won't be the nominee?

"No, I haven't," Clinton said.

(End quote)

12. Feels Good To Settle In On Someone
I am a Biden supporter. I note that he is your second choice. He is also the second choice of many, many people here. When you have time away from supporting Edwards (a fine choice), come join us at the Joe Biden Support Group. You would be most welcomed.

14. How long have you lived in NC? If you don't mind my asking.
In 2004, we had a strange kind of hybrid caucus/primary. The main reason given for this was that it was in May and therefor meaningless, so they didn't want to spend a lot of money.

What it boiled down to--- there were very few places to vote; it costs to open election sights. It wasn't so hard if you lived in a Metropolitan area, but if you lived in a more rural area, your polling place was far away.

I believe only about 2% to 5% of Democrats showed up. When you walked in to vote, you were handed a piece of paper. No one inside the building tried to convince me who to vote for---just a little of that outside the building. It took me about five minutes. I voted for Kerry.

17. I'm a transplant...

I'm an Alaskan, born and raised. My husband is from here, we relocated in 2002.

I enjoy it down here, but there's more red tape than I'm used to with things. And taxes still give my heartburn (makes a face)

I'd be willing to drive, I'm about 20 mins outside of Goldsboro.
