I have one simple question: Has Hillary asked Billy Shaheen to resign?
If so good for her. If not we know where his hit really came from. In this particular instance a strong condemnation is not enough. Also, there has been a little too much of this lately and if it continues it will be hard to believe these are individuals acting on their own.

2. Well, was he asked or will he be asked to resign?
Afterall Hillary's camp has condemned the comment, a comment that she disavows. I would think his resignation should be following soon.

4. I disagree. Obama is not God. And we, can question his past without fear of lightening bolts
What the hell is wrong with DU? Obama admitted to violation of the law, and to doing drugs and Clinton is not allowed to discuss it?

Why not? It is absolutely relevant to his fit for Presidency.

Can you imagine of Clinton broke the law or admitted to doing drugs? Good God, the world would implode. I know DU would for sure, and the media would have be in a tizzy.

Obama is not off limits. We are allowed to discuss his past: the questionnaires he sent out as a sentator, the drug use he claims to have vetted.

6. He did something that the Clinton campaign has now condemned on the record. . .
. . .I would think if a low level staffer walks the plank for forwarding an e-mail, a campaign co-chair should walk the plank as well.

Of course if the Clinton camp stands by his comments he should keep his job.

7. I am upset that she distanced her self from talk of Obama's past
I will admit, that I know nothing of what happened, other than what is on DU, and you know this source has become suspect recently in accuracy.

Obama's past is not off limits.

9. I would agree its not off limits, HOWEVER since the Clinton camp. . .
. . .condemned the statement then the man should be fired. He is her co-chair in New Hampshire. If the Hillary camp stands by the statement he should keep his job, but they don't. They are losing credibility by the minute.

11. He admitted to doing drugs when he was young; like in high school.
Something almost every kid under the age of 55 did. Why don't you give it up already, cause you're making a fool of yourself.

5. Why should she?
Did Shaheen reveal something that Obama, himself, didn't bring up?

Was Shaheen wrong in saying that Republicans will probably attack Obama on his youthtime cocaine use?

8. When did Billy Sheehan join up with Hillary?
I didn't even know she had a band? He was great on David Lee Roth's "Eat Em and Smile" though...

13. She should fire his ass.
And I believe the drug question is relevant, although I also feel he was out of line attempting to reframe Obama as a drug dealer.

Here's why he should be canned. He's off the reservation and off message. And he may have just cost her some points by going renegade.
