Polls showing Edwards is the only candidate that can take all REP
Edited on Wed Dec-12-07 07:57 PM by surfermaw
With Edwards running very close to Hillary, he is going to be the winner.. Democrats want to beat the republicans in 2008, and they will vote for a man that can bring home the bacon.

1. I certainly hope that Democrats will heed that poll. That word has
been out for months among astute Democrats.

2. BUT can he beat Hillary for the nomination??? Doesn't look so...
I will support Edwards wholeheartedly if he is the nominee but I will never support Hillary. If Edwards wins Iowa then maybe he can ride that wave to NH and win. But I have to say that at this point it looks doubtful. He is way behind in all other states besides Iowa.

3. If he can beat all Republicans, he must be winning something.
If we are to win the election, we are going to have stick by the person the party selects, nothing or no one would be like having another republican for 8 years. He has never been behind in IOwa!

4. I didn't say he had ever been behind in Iowa.
My point is....I do not want Hillary as our nominee...period. If you are happy with a Hillary nomination then I think you should back Edwards all the way to the end, absolutely.
