Who said this: 'Candidates personal lives should not be a part of this campaign'?
Edited on Wed Dec-12-07 09:22 PM by jefferson_dem
This guy did, yesterday --->

So much for that lie.

Howard Wolfson, Clinton's communications director, said the campaign has not tried to make use of Obama's past cocaine use and that it would not attempt to do so in the future. "Candidates personal lives should not be a part of this campaign," Wolfson said.

3. But, hill-ary's supporters
think it's fair game even though Obama wrote about it in his book..they need to get on the same page with Howard Wolfson.

4. That, in and of itself is back handed dirty politics.
We don't need more of the same in this country. I am so frustrated that this kind of crap is coming from a democratic candidate and one who cried "mudslinging" and "republican playbook" when John Edwards confronted her on issues that matter when trying to chose between candidates.

5. Sounds like gamesmanship.
A variation of "good cop, bad cop" and an attempt to give the candidate plausible deniability -- all while still allowing the campaign to meddle in dirty tactics.

Very Rovian.
