Today's Republican Debate
I just watched 10 minutes of it because apparently the same moderator and forum will be in play for tomorrow's Dem debatel. Zzzzzzzz.

Does anybody know if there was an AUDIENCE there? There wasn't a peep during the clip I watched. It made it almost uncomfortable -- and boring -- to watch.

Thanks.

1. Do you know where I can find it?

I'd like to watch it until I can't take it anymore. It's kind of like waterboarding.

4. I wondered the same thing
It was nothing like the raucous Illinois, South Carolina, and Florida crowds. Plus, the moderator was boring and completely humorless.

6. She was like a stern librarian. Too bad that will be the last debate before the caucus. nt

7. I'm waiting to see what tomorrows debate brings. It may not have
only been the moderator ya know! I realize it's a newspaper that seems to want to appear unbiased, so that may be why she steered away from the controversial questions, but I'm going to give her a second chance tomorrow.

10. She said the questions they decided to ask were based on what the readers
submitted they most wanted to know. I'm guessing she'll use the same questions tomorrow?

11. The ONLY thing I saw was Wolf Blitzer talking to Huckabee afterward, asking
Huckabee how he thought it went. Both of them were surprised it was pretty mild. Huckabee said he thought he'd be on the floor bleeding, but didn't even need a band-aid.

There were no zinger lines, apparently.

I wasn't home all day, and haven't turned the news on yet.. I'm off tomorrow though and I'm sure MSNBC will be blabbing about it up until the Democratic debate starts.

13. If you're interested it's 'playing' at the Des Moines Register website. But believe
me, it's a snoozer. That' probably why there hasn't been a lot of coverage -- nothing noteworthy.

I have faith our people will step it up!
