If this is the "big secret attack" Bob Novak claimed was coming - how is something Obama's already dealt with quite well, and something already out there in the Iowa media, a "big secret attack"?
And the fact that the GOP will make an issue of Obama's past is "news" to some people?
I see the 'please send me donations cuz the mean lady is picking on me' have gone out, and that's all well and good.
But... sorry, ObamaNation. I ain't buying what you're selling.

12. They're getting plenty of bites - but I'm still not buying what they're selling.
It's silly, repeat silly, to build such a mountain over this minor mole-hill from NH.

17. Well, I don't totally disagree with that in a general sense.
I think all the campaigns spend way too much time on making mountains out of molehills. On the other hand, I was told last night by a Hillary defender that alls fair in politics, so who knows.

I would hope no one buys into slime and gutter politics regardless of who it comes from, but from what I see a lot of people do anyways when it suits them.

It's a funny ole world.

2. Yes - The Big Secret Attack Is Coming Soon
As a fetus, Obama kicked his mother' uterus! Physical parental abuse AND a sex crime all rolled into one - Obama should quit the race now to avoid being shamed by this.

All the more reason not to buy what ObamaNation is selling...

5. As I recall...
Obama mentioned his cocaine use in one of his books. This is similar to Cheney getting in a twit when Kerry mentioned that his daughter was a lesbian at a time when we all knew his daughter was a lesbian. (Not that there's anything wrong with it.)

6. And this isn't Obama, or Cheney, or Kerry
It's a New Hampshire co-chair.
Was he answering a direct question? We don't know, no transcript is out there.
To twist this into 'Hillary attacks Obama Over Cocaine Issue' is bizarre, even for HillHaters.

7. Not exactly - Obama has never been a hypocrite calling for the jailing
of drug users. Cheney got called out because of DOMA.

19. The "100 to 1" laws are as close to Jim Crow as any still on the books.
If disparity in 'justice' has a poster child, it's crack cocaine.

the drug laws big time. Going by some of the other responses in this thread, reforming drug laws isn't a slam dunk.

For example, it doesn't matter if the sentencing commission has come out against the disparity in the way powder and crack cocaine are treated if most people are unaware of the facts. I think Obama plans on making a big splash showing the injustice involved and then get the laws changed.

20. So...
Obama is for legalizing cocaine? Or maybe he's okay with drug laws as long as they aren't enforced.

11. Agree
Obama seems to be a nice enough guy, despite his wife's constant refrain that you can't expect too much from a man who can't remember to pick up his socks. But he is s-u-c-h a blank slate. If elected he probably be the vacillator-in-chief. Maybe Obama for vice president to get him some usable experience.

and if he isn't vetted in the primary, the GOP will do it for us in the GE.

If this is the way they handle the small shit, how on earth can we count on them to be able to handle The Big Shit when the GOP starts in on him?

and substantive.

I think you need to ask someone who considerably less fact-based and slimy.
