2. Maybe he and Alan Keyes can combine signatures, add in their wives
and all of their supporters and break 50.

5. Alan Keyes, OMFG. btw which candidate told him "heal yourself"
after he finished this giant bloviating non-answer by condemning "politicans and hot air?"

3. The Freeps were super-impressed by his tantrum non-answer on Global Warming
They're all like, wow what a LEADER! LOL...I kid you not, they're making that seem like the freaking Gettysburg Address, the thing where he got cranky with the mod for a second.

11. I can back you up on that.
That's all I heard yesterday driving home (the only talk radio is Freeper radio around here). I don't know why I listen - it makes my blood boil, but it does give insight to the bigots...

And, yes, the thought Thompson's tantrum made him a leader. :eyes:

16. I actually *was* scared of him when he first announced.
But that was before he opened his mouth and screwed the Republican base by saying anti-choice shouldn't be part of the Republican Party platform.

When he said that, I knew he'd lost.

Up until then, I pretty much thought Americans - who are too blinded by celebrity - would vote for the old coot because he's that DA on Law & Order. I don't have a lot of faith in the voting public, sadly.

17. They are so screwed on the choice issue.....
They've really fixed it so they have the Freeps in a lather about "baby killing" and yet, most of the country, in fact most of the free world, wants there to be the option of safe & legal abortion.

It's a no win situation. The anti-choice zealots used to take that "talking in code" stuff from GWB but now they have been radicalized to the point they will only accept a candidate who will promise to wipe it out altogether, which means, an unelectable person.

6. Funny how both he AND Keyes are included in the debates...
despite the "seriousness" of their candidacies.

7. He needs to get a tape of that DahDAH! noise thing
From Law & Order. Whenever he wants to accent something he said or end discussion he just hits it

DahDAH!

I was going to make a joke about Angie Harmon but have you seen her on the "woman's Murder Club" Yikes don't they feed their women???? They shroud her in black and against black backgrounds so you can't figure out where she stops and the scenery begins...every once in a while some light slips in and she is scary thin

15. Angie Harmon, Dennis Miller fan.....
I saw Angie Harmon somewhere...coffee place or something, she did not look overly thin at that time but she had on a "Dennis Miller for President" T-shirt! Now every time I see her I think that she must be an insufferable asshole in real life to be such a DM fan.

This was long time ago like....maybe even 2004 election era but funny how that stuck with me, LOL, I was at the airport and they had that show on and the first thing I thought was, Dennis Miller bimbo.

9. Candidates with no support and no financing get 500 signatures in a tiny legislative district here
You need at least 500 sigs for most small offices in NY (county legislative, state leg., etc.). They get them every election here. Thompson is pathetic.

20. How is that possible? Why are they writing off DE?
You could hire two kids for a week and you'd have 1000. WTF?

21. I don't know what's up. I read about it
here:

Candidates need 500 signatures to appear on the Delaware presidential primary, unless they appear to have qualified for primary season matching funds. The signatures were due on December 10.

Bill Richardson did not file any Delaware signatures, and has not tried to qualify for primary season matching funds, so he won’t be on the Democratic ballot.
