Not just before the Iowa caucus. Fat boy will try and go after him with guns blazing to try and make some major news before the Caucus.Obama has been on that show twice this year already why subject yourself to the scrutiny of Fat boy. any DU'ers think it's a good idea to go on that show days before Iowa caucus?

15. I agree - I watched a portion just this am.
Tim reported the new websites the Hillary campaign have opened but shockingly failed to mention the ones Obama opened two days before her. He is protecting Obama for now so he can have fun with him later.

I have personally known a lot of political news folk (writing, radio & tv) and they all have an ego the size of Ethiopia and they think of themselves as being in show business. To a person they thought of themselves as "King-Makers and Destroyers". It is all shits and giggles to them as they are generally amoral.

It is just show biz and ratings to them.

5. I hope he doesn't go after him
Obama has appeared to be easily flustered and rattled these days. I trust he'll get softball questions. Timmy is gunning for Hillary (see: Edwards-Obama-Russert tag-teaming Hillary during an earlier debate)

11. I saw the interview and Paul definitly got the better
of punkin head. I'm not sure what interview you watched. If Obama can be as composed and assured as Paul he will do well.

The NBC and MSNBC gang do appear to have a very strong anti Hillary bias, so Timmy may very well try to make Obama look good.

7. Bad move. Ratsert will lay out many of Obama's vulnerabilites and have a field day.
and Obama will have to explain why a three-year Senator with no executive experience has what it takes to be elected and serve as President. Ratsert will go in harder than usual right before Iowa.

13. I hope Russert has enough balls to ask Obama some hard questions
He doesn't mind socking it to Hillary and Edwards but up til now they think a hard question is what are you going to wear on Halloween. Ask him why he misses so many damn hard choice votes. Ask him why he believed bush and said he would bomb Iran. Ask him why he made fun of Hillary Clinton and came up with the bullshit about her making a plan to run for president during Bill's term.

Someone from his campaign said that he had plans to run for president before he ran for the Senate. That he had all the directives and everything he needed to do to up his campaign to run in 2008. And the site is was written on was www.prospects.org ezraklein..on December 18, 2007. So Mr. Saint Obama is sorta underhanded isn't he...flame someone for doing what he did. I guess he didn't think he would get caught out.

19. I believe it Bitwit....that 3-book deal he arranged even before he
warmed his Senate seat once raised my suspicions immediately... He's a smooth operator....I've never trusted him and do not trust him now. I think he will be a disaster in the long run...

20. Based on how the Clinton campaign is acting, it will be his chance to expose them
Barack is not scared of Timmy. Plus he won't do fake cackles to somehow disarm Russert.
