I Guarantee That Whichever Candidate You Think You Hate Now
You'll love by the time November rolls around.

Why?

Because you'll see who the GOP is nominating, and then you'll realize just how much better off we'd be with whatever Democrat we end up choosing.

The worst of us is still better than the best of them.

Remember that.

hillary is no John Kerry. I wish he were running now but I know..it is what it is.

I just want us to have a candidate who isn't going to be the sos.

7. Here, here.
I agree...

If the choices are candidate A equals continued killing and big business status quo -or- candidate B equals continued killing and big business status status quo. Then I will have no choice but to refrain from voting. Even though I know my choice could result in another registered republican? Yes, because I will not vote for more killing or continued exploitation by big transnational businesses no matter what color stripes someone is wearing.

These two issues seem to know no differences between party lines with the front runners on both sides.

13. is pandering wrong?
what's wrong with pandering? You do what you've gotta do to get your foot in the door. You can't change the way things are if you're not sitting in the White House.

14. yes, but getting your foot in the door doesn't necessarily mean you will change things either
although it is the only hope I have if one of the so-called "centrists" end up in the whitehouse.

8. The Democrats could run Satan and I'd vote for him
to keep the GOP out of power. That doesn't mean I'd be particularly happy about it. Some people would be so unhappy they'd just stay home.

That's what's been happening in the last election cycles. Both Gore and Kerry were packaged as bland, business as usual, don't rock the boat, pro business and anti labor candidates who wouldn't do a damned thing for any person who worked for a living, and such people stayed home in droves. Both were great candidates who would have won landslides that would have been impossible to fix had they been allowed to campaign on their strengths and to the party base instead of to a fictional group of GOP swing voters.

The Democrats can lose this one, too, if they allow the same group of campaign "handlers" to fuck up another candidate. It doesn't matter who the candidate is at this point. What matters is how the campaign is played.

Clinton won two terms as a progressive economic populist even though he didn't govern that way. Think about it.

9. No, I won't!!!
If one candidate in particular wins the nomination, I'll drag myself in November and vote for him. That's as far as my involvement will go, I won't spend any time nor money campaigning for him.
