Biden Won't Make Second-Choice Deals
02 Jan 2008 06:51 pm

I asked Joe Biden's spokesman, Mark Paustenbach, whether reports that Biden is encouraging his second-choice caucus goers to pick Obama were true.

"We do not have a deal with any other candidate," he said.
"The staff meeting was to coordinate caucus strategy. We have no offers to do a deal and we have not reached out to others."

1. There are some people on CSPAN right now talking about
Joe, and they say it looks pretty good. Not sure the show, but they just finished talking about him. Some lady called in urging people-somewhere, to vote for Joe.

3. In our conference call, they said they had made no deals.
Lots of rumors, but not true.

They are hearing good things and are very positive, so hang in there!

Can someone find an extra long straw and let me have a sip of your champagne tomorrow night? :bounce:

4. no way ....no how
They would let us know that by now.
I can't even imagine such a scenario. What good would this do Joe? I think this is most definitely a rumor.....trying to switch or influence last minute decisions???.....Happens every four years it seems like. Usually it backfires...

5. The stupid Msm is trying to make something up here.
Jonathan Alter and Olbermann were talking about it, saying how the top tier all want Biden's supporters.
They were talking about how Biden hit Hillary on her mispeak about the Pakastani elections, and how in turn Hillary complimented Biden because she wants his people to pick her for second choice.

As you all know - I have had it with the MSM - even Keith.

16. Excellent news gateley, thanks for dispelling this 'rumor'
Let the other campaigns do what they will. Richardson has already let us know that he's up for Veep or another cabinet position, I guess?
