Guilliana is trying to murder his own chances of being President
Last week he said of all the people he could think of, he would most prefer Richard "Dick" Cheney to be his VP. Can you imagine anyone who was serious about the presidency saying such a thing, after what we have suffered over the past seven years???

Now he is saying Bush is the greatest president ever.

Either--as in the case of John McCain--he is experiencing the onset of dementia, or he is trying to self-destruct.

Lip service to how brilliant he was during 9-11 will only get him so far, once people realize he was practically a conspirator in murdering hundreds of firepeople, doctors and anyone who breathed that dioxin-rich air with the assurance that it was safe. How far will marching around in a hard-hat on TV get this pathological maniac in our political process?

2. how is this guy supposed to be a good politician
if he doesnt even put 2+2 together

2(the majority of people in america hate cheney as observed by national polls)
2 ( you want the majority of people approval)

doing what alot of people dont want you to do will not get your approval.

3. He is very very slowly snatching defeat from the jaws of certain victory
Remember when he was the shoo-in for the GOP nom?

Great article in The Progressive this month re: his tailspin:

4. He was dumb enough to say that?
I'd love to see him be the GOP nominee.

5. There's obviously method to his madness
if that's true. I don't know what that method is, but I don't see him doing stuff like that just because he's having extended brain-f*rts.

What's in it for him?

7. Does the law allow him to keep the unspent money he has raised? Also he may be marketing his business

He may be walking a tightrope. If he becomes a viable front runner he will be heavily investigated and will crash-maybe even get indicted----but if he continues in the race at this level he is getting free publicity for his business interests.

At this point i thinl he is highly motivated by money.

6. He's finally our of his league-- he's not that stupid, or..
at least wasn't in the past.

When he ran NYC, he ran it as a dictatorship and rarely made a public misstep, even when calling ferret owners some sort of perverts, he knew that there were few enough ferret owners to matter. Same thing with the black neighborhoods-- as long as he had most of the whites, Jews, and Asians in his pocket, he was OK and didn't have to give a shit about them.

Sounds like a scumbag? Yeah, he was a scumbag, and he hurt the people who had no power anyway, and couldn't hurt him. Nice guy.

But now he's totally lost it. He ran for Mayor on his mob busting, and now for President on 9/11. Other than that, he's got nothin' Years ago, he could come up with some bullshit that sounded almost all right, but now he's completely out of his element.

I guess he can be the poster boy for the Peter Principle.

8. LOL, doesn't Rudy know Cheney's approval rating is about 9%

That would go over like a lead balloon with voters.
