1. As far as I know, war crimes don't have a statue of limitations
of course, there would have to be the will to prosecute- doubtful, even in our own party.

3. IF charges are brought against this administration
(and Biden has mentioned that evidence is being compiled, so at least there's a possibility), they'd better sure as fuck include Rumsfeld in the charges.

5. Hiding the perps in 'plane site'.
Yes, where has Rumsfeld been hiding? What about Rice? Maybe they are being interrogated?

Rove was being investigated, and that investigator was also being investigated, before the MM book bribe news broke.

6. Rumsfeld is busy with Oil War II: South America
"The Smart Way to Beat Tyrants Like Chávez," by Donald Rumsfeld, 12/1/07
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/11/30/AR2007113001800.html

He wants to get rid of any remaining 'checks and balances' in our own government (f.i., Congress), so the U.S. can "act swiftly" in support of "friends and allies" in South America (i.e., fascist thugs planning coups), to regain control of the Andes oil fields for Exxon Mobile & co, and related purposes.

It's my theory that immunity from prosecution for war crimes, for top Bushites (Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Addington, Gonzales et al), is guaranteed by their corporate puppetmasters contingent upon their destruction of democracy in Venezuela, Bolivia and Ecuador (and possibly also Bolivarian ally Argentina), re-installation of rightwing dictatorships, and re-gaining U.S./corporate control of oil, gas, minerals and other resources; other purposes include "free trade" (global corporate predation, i.e., avoidance of local taxes and regulation, use of unprotected slave labor, and loan shark financing--World Bank/IMF); also, retaining and expanding U.S. military bases. The trend in South America is strongly against all these U.S. domination mechanisms. The Bushites have essentially "lost" South America (huge leftist movement has swept the region) while they've been busy fucking over the Middle East and robbing us blind. They need to regain some ground in the U.S./Corporate "backyard," South America--is my theory--or get dumped by those who are protecting them.

As Rumsfeld spells out, Colombia is their launching pad for Oil War II--very, very corrupt government, dinosaur of the continent, into which the Bush Junta has poured billions of our tax dollars in military aid; Colombian government and military closely tied to rightwing paramilitaries that chainsaw union leaders and throw their body parts into mass graves, torture and kill peasant farmers and political leftists, are engaged in big drug/weapons trafficking, and have hatched plots to assassinate democratic leaders in neighboring countries. The sort of government the Bushites love. If Rumsfeld succeeds, he will continue to be protected. But I don't think he will succeed. This peaceful democracy and social justice movement in South America is very strong, and deeply rooted (people-based) and I think it will survive whatever horrors Rumsfeld has in mind. And, if my theory is correct, Rumsfeld and pals--having used up their usefulness to the Corporate Rulers--may then become vulnerable to prosecution for their many crimes.

7. Appointed gangsters.
It seems unlikely that Rumsfeld would be allowed to confess, bear witness, or be deposed. Remember William Casey, the CIA head knee deep in IranContra, and his last minute brain edit?
