Our guys/gal are exhausted

Folks, They are going to make mistakes. Don't judge them too hard when they have a minor slip up.

1. So right

The fatigue was obvious last night. Clinton in particular just seemed worn out for parts of the evening, and Richardson's first couple of answers sounded like he needed coffee. Same thing, to a lesser degree, with Obama and Edwards. The frontloaded election cycle is obviously punishing, and you're very observant to point this out.

4. Reform

They need to not only limit the financial aspects of campaigning, but limit campaigning to certain time periods. Maybe 2 weeks every month during an election cycle.

2. Isn't it time to mandate some rest for these people?

Or is killing them the goal?

It's time for health and safety standards for campaigns...which of course will not happen until someone strokes out on the podium.

But yeah, it isn't fun to watch them struggle to be alert and upbeat when they're desperate for some sleep.
