Poll question: Can you LET IT GO now?
"He said" and "She said" and "a surrogate said" and "a supporter said" and "the campaign said" and "an unnamed aide said"...

Can you let it go now?

(Please?)

1. They won't. The ongoing reenactment of "Lord of the Flies" is too much fun for some.
And too many damn egos are involved.

2. Again, when the Tweety's of the world
keep bringing this crap up, one of them just has to have the cahones to laugh in their face, say, "I've said all i am going to say." and just walk the hell away from the microphone. End of story if no-one comments on it any further.

I can just imagine Wolfie trying to kill dead air time with a non-responsive candidate...you know, like talking to Bush and expecting an intelligent answer.

7. Exactly. I cant take it anymore.
Then the Clintons paints themselves as the victims. I find myself becoming more and more unable to be open to *anything* they say.

9. Anyone who really thinks...
Hillary Clinton, or anybody else, can control what Rangel says is "stupid." Sheesh.

But yeah, I get it. Anything to keep this so-called "controversy" going, when both candidates have made very gracious statements. Dunno whether or not it was their idea or if Dean locked them in a room until they agreed, but no matter. It SHOULD be over.

The fact is that if you like a certain candidate, you will support what they say and do, and if you don't support a candidate, you will suspect them of hypocrisy, dishonesty, and what-have-you. There is no point in attacking and insulting everyone but your own candidate--it isn't going to change anybody's mind, IMO.

It's a messy process but we'll get through the primaries and go on to the real bad guys--the Republican nominee and his surrogates, who will certainly throw everything they have at our Dem nominee, whether true or not. The media will once again be skewed toward the Repub nominee just like they were in the last elections. The Military Industrial Complex is not about to take a powder this time!

Whoever is nominated at the DNC convention will need us all to be able to pull together to defeat the GOP machine. It's not going to be any cake-walk. There are a lot of gullible people out there willing to once again pull the lever for "R".
