I just emailed NPR about lack of Edwards news
All this talk on ATC tonight about the SC primary and not one mention of Edwards, who WON the state in '04.

No point in bitching about the media blackout on Edwards' candidacy without doing something about it. I do know that the producers of NPR shows read and respond to email messages. Don't like your fav candidate's coverage in the media? Make some noise.

Strangely, the MSM has no problem with covering Romney, McCain, Huckabee, Thompson, and Giuliani in great detail.

1. He's 25-30 points down in SC. I think that's a more reasonable explanation than
OMG NPR IS AFRAID OF A LIBERAL.

4. Are you suggesting that National Petroleum Radio is liberal??
If so, you are stuck in a pre-Gingrich time warp.
They're more liberal than Fox, I'll grant you that.
But, as their commercials (oops, sorry. I mean "corporate underwriting credits") make abundantly clear, they are highly dependent on large multinationals these days for their funding. Not exactly an outpost for alumnae from the Weather Underground!

Reminds me of a line from a movie, the name of which I can't recall.

"Look, I'm as liberal as the next guy."
"Yeah, if the next guy is a Klansman."

(A 2004 Pew Research study revealed that NPR listeners are 31 percent conservatives, 33 percent moderate, and 30 percent liberal.)

5. No. I think NPR is almost completely nonpartisan.

2. Look at this crap they had on their website about Edwards on the 12th
snip...

Weekend Edition Saturday, January 12, 2008 · The next test for the Democrats is in Nevada, which holds caucuses a week from Saturday. A lack of money has led John Edwards to focus his efforts in South Carolina, leaving the contest to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

And John Edwards will be in LV tomorrow for the MSNBC debate plus to campaign down there and he is in Reno on Wednesday then back to LV.

What liars!
