I've never called for Edwards to drop our. He should stay in through Super Tuesday. And if he wins NV, he'll get a ton of press and a new look from a lot of people. If he comes in second that will still give him a boost. Having said that, he just doesn't have the money to compete in the Super Tuesday biggies.

Edwards supporters 2nd choice candidate is about even according to stories I read today in the news. Edwards supporters go for Clinton as much if not slightly more than for Obama. It won't help either candidate. It will change after SC and Nevada. There isn't much happening out here as far as active campaigning other than Chelsea was here recently. Hillary has been out here a bit and Obama was here some. Not much excitement yet. Staying in, he collects more delegates and can ask them to vote with Obama when he, if he, does not win. He can get the' change message the populist message into the party platform. He is of more benefit to progressives this way much like he has driven the message of change that all the others copy now. I support Edwards and hope he wins, I won';t change until we get much closer to Feb 5. If Hillary is still ahead, I switch then.

Obama's candidacy down the road. Obama has not been tested in a national campaign. The toughest candidate he has ever run against was Alan Keyes. Edwards needs to get as many delegates as possible.

Obama's promises of harmony with the Republicans are just so much hot air.

Obama needs to get his 35 up into the low 40s. That's it.
Sure, I'd like to win it, but I'll take a damn close second in California any day. 42% of the delegates there is a chunk. If we can pull that off, and have at least respectable showing in NY (her home) & NJ plus a few other smaller state wins we are going to the convention!
