This Edwards supporter thanks Kucinich. The question that begs to be asked:
of every candidate in this election is: How will you ensure our right to vote is not usurped by proven vulnerabiilties in this election and going forward?

I applaud Kucinich for asking that election integrity be restored. This is something every citizen should be demanding. I hope he uses his voice at the debate tonight to ask just that. Down with status quo.

2. with you on that
I am applauding dennis every day for his actions. If he has no chance for being president at least he is doing what he can for the democratic process.

We're with you all the way DK.

3. He should start by asking the other candidates
why they don't throw their money down on the table to recount the votes. It's always third tier and third party candidates doing all the dirty work when it looks like there is a discrepancy.

4. Given that Edwards swore off corporate lobbyist money, maybe
those who did not have the most reason to reassure all of us, but I'm with you.
There should be money from all parties, all candidates going to an automatic audit process in every state, that way the race will be on to make safeguards that are affordable and verifiable.

5. You deserve a medal
for being polite and saying something nice about a candidate other than your own, and realizing that the ISSUE of voting rights is what is at stake. What a refreshing post to read. Thank you.

8. ayeshahaqqiqa, the medal goes to DK, we are all grateful for his
voice in this election, he and Edwards are on the right path to restoring a gov't being responsible to and serving we, the people. Major kudos for Dennis for making this an issue. It's on all of our minds and we need solutions. I know DU people are united on this front. Now we need to hear from our candidates.

14. Wish Edwards would have told MSNBC that if DK wasn't allowed on he would not go on.
The Demo's should stick up for each other when attacked by the fascist media.

15. Point taken, but that's asking a lot when they are also competing.
It is something that NBC botched since they had first made an invitation, shame on them for rescinding it. I also think this outcry should have come, maybe more appropriately, from someone like Dean.

but the Party should hold the debates with or without coverage.

18. Oh yes, the "media", now that's another thread. I wish they could
take Russert out too , but now that would really be dreaming. I think we should grab the guy from the local paper in NH who did so well at that debate, now THAT was something to see in action. Seems there are still some who actually remember how to be a journalist, how to ask a good old fashioned question that reaches into the heart of the matter. I thought they were all gone.

Thanks for your thoughts, rhett o rick.

20. I am sure there are good journalists out there but they probably have a hard time
getting a job with the f-word media (fascist of course).

17. You bring up a great point, mother earth.
Shouldn't all the candidates want to make sure the votes are counted as they were intended to be cast?

One would hope so.

Thanks for bringing this up.

Peace,
DR

PS Love your name :)
