Can Romney Keep Getting 2nd And Still Win The Nom?

Is there some scenario where the others keep switching off first place and then the continual second place guy ends up with the most delegates? I heard part of a call-in show where the caller claimed this; but it seems to me there would have to be 3 guys switching out of the top spot, nut just McCain & Huck.

1. Florida and Michigan, among others are Winner-takes-all.

So, it has kept him in the lead so far, but he'll need some wins from the big states.

2. Romney will have serious downward momentum if he doesn't win MI today.

And McCain will have even more upward momentum if he wins today.

Interesting. I have mixed feelings, in a way I would love Mitt to be toast as I find him to be an insufferable a-hole to the nth degree!! LOL! But thinking more logistically, if Mitt wins it turns McCain's momentum into Lieberman-style Joe-mentum, LOL. It's kind of nice if the whole GOP is split up and beating up on each other for at least as long as we are!
