Does Edwards Have Any Surrogates At All?
We here the Obama folks and the Clinton folks on tv a lot, but I have yet to see any Edwards surrogates on tv pumping up their candidate.

Have any D.C. politicians lined up behind him at all?

Does he have ANYONE speaking on his behalf?

I've seen Joe Trippi, but he's his campaign guy - so he really doesn't count. I mean, anyone else?

Anyone?

1. He's got the former governor and lt. governor of Georgia
who spent the past weekend canvassing in South Carolina for him.

Other than that, I don't know.

2. Of course he does. No one in the MSM is interested however
His wife is one of his best spokespeople, IMHO.

But it's all race/obama/clinton right now.

It's all about ratings.

Follow the money...

4. his wife doesn't count
I'm talking elected officials who have endorsed him. Or high-profile people.

6. He has mostly had non-high profile people speak for him
the ad he ran in Iowa the day of that primary was done by an out-of-work father. The parents of the young woman who died waiting for a liver transplant also have spoken out for him.

For Edwards it isn't all about flashy celebrities, it's about appealing to real people and their problems.

He has had a few though - Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne and John Mellencamp have done concerts and appearances with him.

7. The issue is not lack of surrogates but rather lack on invites from mainstream media
