Some Musings On A Wed. Morning
1) It seems like the Republican establishment is intent on nominating the easiest candidate to beat and that is Mitt Romney...I'll give them credit for ideological fealty...Romney is right (to them) on an all their key issues; he doesn't like gays and abortion but he loves big business...

2) I enjoyed last night's debate... I'd like to see a Clinton-Obama or Obama-Clinton ticket... If they don't like and respect each other they should learn to because there is much to like and respect about both of them...I love Barack's wry or dry sense of humor... His statement that is wife is extraordinary and his children are above average was poignant and funny...

3) It seemed like Hillary was moving left last night...Before last night I thought she was running left on social and economic issues and right on foreign policy/defense issues which isn't a bad place to be in a national election but alas this is not a national election but a campaign for the Democratic nominmation...

4) Chris Matthews fawning over Hillary last night was as transparent as his bashing of her... I don't know which is worse; to see someone you admire being showered with disingenuous praise or attacked with heart felt vitriol... Chris Matthews has made himself a player and not an observer which is not a good place for a journalist to be...

1. Not a word about Edwards - who WON the debate? Meh for your musings.
Try again.

3. Matthews a journalist? Whoda thunk it.
I really believe Matthews is schizophrenic. It is almost comical to hear him contradict himself from one day to another.
He could probably have an argument with himself that would end up in a pretty nasty fight.
