Poll question: Is race or gender a factor you have considered
in order to support or NOT to support a candidate in our field right now?

1. No. The issues outweight any of those concerns.
I just happen to think the white guy has the best stances on the issues. I actually wish that weren't the case.

2. Considered? Yes.
I would prefer to have a woman or black president.

However, having considered it, I did not vote for either of them in the primary; I voted for a white dude (Kucinich), because affirmative action only works if you feel the candidates are acceptable to begin with.

4. Of course.
Yes it is important because racism and misogyny are big part of our culture. Everyone is not just an individual but carry that baggage that particular view of a woman or a non white person.

6. No, people are morons who base their votes solely on something like that
Gender/Race, and other stuff like a candidate looking hot should never determine someone's vote.
