Freepers on the Dean blog
Apparently poor kids aren't worthy of good health the way rich kids are and if poor kids get healthcare, it would be communism. :eyes:. This was posted in the comments section of the Dean blog today:

This is the problem with Dean and his supporters:

From the NY Times letter posted above:

"...his policies{including the extension of health insurance to nearly all children in vermont} show that he is friven to help those less fortunate gain the same opportunities he had as a child."

The economics of that statement are impossible. Every kid in America can't have what the wealthy have. If you even try to enact some classless society you get something called communism? Didn't you people learn anything in the last 20 years? Communism does not work!!!! It looks nice on paper, but it's impossible to impose in a just manner. People become slaves to the state! Is that what you want??? I don't

7. Well...
... on a tangent, Vermont does have a certain reputation - very liberal for a rural state.

2. yes
providing kids with health care is communism, not a right that every child (human being) should be entitled to. There speaks the true sentiment of the Republican party and why it is so important that they be defeated.

3. lol
people on the right sure like to throw the word 'communist' at people that dont have the same views as them ;)

Its to bad people made the word socialist and communist dirty words. Both of which are wonderful, but they have been perverted by many people over the years to benefit themselves or a group of people instead of the intended everyday person.
sad really.
oh well.
id rather be a commie than a fascist ;)

5. freepers are morons
I just love how this guy thinks the economics of universal healthcare are impossible for the richest nation in history. It's not like healthcare for all is a new innovative thing thought up by Vermont.
