It's too bad that Bill and Hillary
Edited on Sat Jan-26-08 07:36 PM by senseandsensibility
didn't show the same "fighting spirit" during the run up to the Iraq War that they showed when they felt threatened by Obama. I will NEVER forget how disappointed I was by the Big Dog then.

Flame away. I don't care. Tonight, they got what they deserved.

1. Apparently they're threatened by JE now as well.

2. My only wish is that JE could come in second
but I guess that's not too likely, is it?

6. That's what we're rooting for right now.
Or at least close to 2nd.

3. I'm really having trouble with Bill's behavior
He's wallowing in some sort of lowball mudslinging.
It apparently didn't sit well with the South Carolinians.
That's for sure.

Is this what we would be looking forward to if Hillary gets the nomination (i.e. super delegates sown up)?

4. Yup
And this is coming from someone who once paid 2000 dollars to attend a fundraiser and meet the Big Dog.

10. Doesn't it just curl your toenails?
I wish I could have the money back to contribute to JE!

19. Hillary will win and she will never change her stripes. What you see is what you get
Sleazy is as sleazy does.

5. Yeah, too bad that just about the entire Democratic Congress didn't either
I guess Bill and Hillary are solely responsible for the run up to the war now, too. lol

16. They are the ones touting themselves as "leaders." However, they
have been missing in action for the past seven years. So a lot of us don't really take that claim too seriously if you know what I mean.

9. Yep. Big Dawg and Hilly are regular pussycats around neocons
and PNACers. They only draw blood from other Dems. So yes, they richly deserve the humiliation they are bringing on themselves.

11. Yeah, that's why neocons everywhere have nightmares about being pasted by the Clintons
more than anyone else. They're pussycats alright...if you wanna call caged tigers pussycats.

13. You've got to be joking.
The neocons are Hilly's best friends. Check to see who the NYT endorsed.

12. I'm not sure how slander would have stopped the Iraq war, and clearly that is all they can do

15. I think he means they wouldn't have been effective at ending the Iraq
fiasco, since swiftboating is about the only thing they're really good at.

17. Bill never struck me as incapable of dealing with the facts
He's not stupid, and he knew there was no basis for invading Iraq. He just chose to remain silent.

18. Yes and then he lied and said he opposed it.
During his term he also authorized a covert bombing campaign that was pure humanitarian crime.
