CAROLINE KENNEDY: Obama A President Like My Father (JFK}
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/27/opinion/27kennedy.html?_r=2&hp&oref=slogin&oref=slogin

<snip> OVER the years, I’ve been deeply moved by the people who’ve told me they wished they could feel inspired and hopeful about America the way people did when my father was president. This sense is even more profound today. That is why I am supporting a presidential candidate in the Democratic primaries, Barack Obama.

5. It was a truthful reply. JFK was a fine president with a major problem.
And Obama doesn't have that problem, near as we know.

6. FDR had a few lady friends, too. Back in the old days, that was considered to
be a "perk of office." The press didn't tell. At least not contemporaneously with the incumbent's term.

LBJ was the one who got the least press in that regard, but he was probably the most active of the lot.
