i`m concerned since he`s stuck his nose into this primary that it will hurt the party which is what i care about. the republican`s have been given a a golden talking point and we can not afford this--the race is going to be close no matter who the candidate is

Considering it is a brutal dictatorship, I somehow doubt their worker protections are adequate.

Add to this the special dangers of Uranium mining -- Uranium ore emits radon gas, and requires special ventilation and breathing accommodations to be done safely -- and those workers must be in terrible shape.

edit: Confused Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

Here's what happened to one guy who did something akin to what Bill did:

U.S. prosecutors have charged businessman James H. Giffen with steering $78 million in bribes to Nazarbayev and one of his former prime ministers in the 1990s in exchange for influence in oil transactions.

No, his foundation did. That's a good thing - it's doing wonderful work. It's not Bill's personal slush fund.

14. everything could be on the up & up, but why the secrecy over the
donor list? It just all seems so seedy. And you and I both know the media will have a field day with all the speculation.

19. donor lists
aren't released. People donate with the expectation that their contribution is private.

Would you like Planned Parenthood to release their donor list so anti-abortion whackjobs can pore through it? Bosses could fire employees, whackos could harass big contributors....

No, charitable foundations don't release their donor list. Even Bill has said there are people on the list who would be embarrassed if it were known they donated.

25. what you say may be true, but I have a feeling it would be
more embarassing for Bill than the donors. By the way, I work for a non-profit hospice, and our donors are listed in our monthly newsletter. So, I'll have to ask my CEO about your claim.

Also this dictator would be arrested if he entered the US.

The evidence is on the front page of the NYT. There are numerous threads in GDP discussing this story, and one in LBN. And the LBN thread is now on the DU home page.

Really. This is just horrid. This is another reason I CANNOT vote for HRC in the GE. To me, she is absolutely no different than any of the jerks running for the Repukes. I know many will flame me for saying it, but I just can't do it. I'm just one person...so hopefully, it won't matter.
