13. His voice was heard. Hopefully the other candidates listened to.
I'm going with Hillary, her record on trying to effect some of the change Edwards spoke of is strong.
Her work for Children spanning decades is one John Edwards would be proud of.
You cannot always win the prize, but if you have an effect on those whom you are competing with, you have done a great service to this country.

Thank You John Edwards.

People who don't deserve your vote shouldn't get your vote. Vote for John, if he's still on the ballot.

27. I don't
Although I agreed with some of what he was saying I never thought he was sincere about it.

His voting record in the senate stands as a sharp contradiction. Not just on the Iraq War and Patriot Act but on many economical issues as well. Edwards always stuck like a complete fraud to me.

I know people are desperate for those kinds of reforms. In a sense I always felt bad for them as I think this guy was out to dupe them.

41. I'm not giving you false pity.
I'm sorry that your guy is out. Like I said, I agreed with a lot of what he was saying. We are on the same page there.

Eventually when the smoke blows over and you take time to look at this guys voting record in congress you won't feel as bad.

I'm just being honest with you. You'll get up tomorrow and feel better. Perhaps folks will quit worshipping these idiots and finally be moved into direct action along with ballot reform.

That's my ultimate hope. Many of our grandparents, great grandparents and parents understood that principle in the 20's,30's, 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's. Guys like Edwards and Kucinich are just out to channel all that energy into the party.

Candidates are not going to change things for those on the bottom in Washington. The liberation of the Working Class (Either by Relief, Reform or Working Class) is only going to come from the Working Class.

43. My loyalties stand with the working class
I am able to vote at the ballot box and keep my wits about me.

I don't suck up and kiss the ass of these candidates as if they are some Jesus like savior come to rescue me. They only look to channel out anger so they can steer in the direction they like and not do anything serious about it. Hillary's statements about MLK NEEDS LBJ are indicative of that sentiment and exactly how the Wall Street croud want it.

I refuse to buy into it.

Our history is littered with candidates who run on a populist message, get into office and capitualate to the demands of Wall Street over the demands of the workers.

I'd rather remain vigilant and keep these fuckers on their toes.
