I Am Interrupting My Hiatus

My girlfriend attended the debate at the Kodak Theater the other night and got Obama's and Hillary's autographs...I am impressed... I know how hard it is to "push" your way to the front of an event like this...

I haven't posted for three days because I'm reminded of what my dad taught me... He only had a ninth grade education but was wise in my eyes...He used to say " if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all"... There's too much rancor on this board and I just find myself contributing to the rancor...

I just thought it was so cool my girlfriend got to see the debate (and) got the autograph of the next president...

I've been staying away from here myself, but only because arguing is useless at this point. No one's changing anyone's minds about anything, & I don't need the aggravation. I'm only posting to correct any blatant misinformation if I see it, and I like reading opinions about polls and trends.

The reason I am not posting is because when I see someone diss Hillary I then diss them and it becomes a swearing match... I had two New Year's Resolutions- to lose weight and to be slow to anger... I am serious about both of them...I'm tired of arguing on the net...
