1. These must be the people who don't know about Tony Rezko building Nuclear Power Plants in Iraq, huh?
Edited on Sat Feb-02-08 07:10 PM by BeatleBoot

http://www.menafn.com/qn_news_story_s.asp?storyid=102117

(MENAFN) Rezmar Corp., a real estate development company entered into a joint venture with a British firm in a $150-million deal to build a power plant in Iraq.

The contract, signed with Iraq's ministry of electricity, calls for joint venture to supply power to Iraq for 10 years, according to a spokesman for Chicago-based Rezmar.

The 250-megawatt power plant is slated to be one of three power plants under construction at the same time. A Brazilian firm and an Iraqi company are building the other two.

The Rezmar joint venture will be based in Jordan. Construction is slated to begin this fall.

10. Or that he voted FOR Dick Cheney's Energy Bill giving the farm away to Big Oil?
http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=109&session=1&vote=00213

I bet they don't know that one either.

Because $ 25 Billion of Subsidies (our tax dollars) to Big Oil is okay with Obama. It's Hope. It's Change.

I give enough of my money to Big Oil when I fill up my tank. But Obama wanted to give them $ 25 Billion more.

That ain't the change I expected. I hope people wake up.

13. Your getting these from a Clinton talking points memo, right?
"Dick Cheney's Energy Bill" gave it away.

15. We're awake. Enjoy voting for the Rethug if Hillary doesn't get the nod.
Plenty of your friends here on DU.

I guess we are supposed to "wake up" according to your single-minded definition (aka, we must hate Obama).

We have heard that tune before. And rejected it (thanks to Kal-el son of Jor-el).

21. Or that Obama's Campaign Was Lent Money by an Iraqi in 2005
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x4355773

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_amer...

Court papers describe Mr Rezko as a close friend of Mr Auchi. The two are involved in a large Chicago land development together. But it is unclear how long the two men have known each other or whether they were linked before the 2003 Iraq war. Neither side would discuss their relationship.

The Times has, however, discovered state documents in Illinois recording that Fintrade Services, a Panamanian company, lent money to Mr Obama’s fundraiser in May 2005.

Fintrade’s directors include Ibtisam Auchi, the name of Mr Auchi’s wife. Mr Auchi’s spokespeople declined to respond to a question about whether he was linked to this business.

...your posting have the effect of pushing people farther away from her and the Clinton's politics of division and personal destruction and more toward Obama.

Please...by all means.... keep it up.

with a box of Kleenex drinking warm Vernors Ginger Ale.

Sorry that the truth hurts.

We have taste here. Target Center (where this event took place) is right across the street from First Ave, where the Replacements and Husker Du cut their teeth.

16. Look, it's nothing personal...
In the final days, it's all about rattling and dispiriting the opposition, which, judging by your post, I'm doing quite well.

Just be sure to be here Super Tues night, so I can spike the football under your nose.

8. Last poll in MN, he was behind by 7 points
but that was almost a week ago. Hillary also has an event here tomorrow, but it's at a smaller venue.

Right now in MN, it's really too close to call.

24. Is is my imagination.. or are the crowds getting BIGGER and BIGGER every day? At this rate, I'm
going to have to hop a flight and go see him speak before the primaries are over. He's evidently not coming to Tennessee. And this is not something I want to miss. I've waited too many decades to see people believing again. I want to be part of it :-)

(30 degrees . . . a heatwave today!) and Target Center was packed to the rafters. It's history.
