BRILLIANT!
Edited on Sun Feb-03-08 12:07 PM by CorpGovActivist
I can personally attest to the brilliance of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laurence_Tribe">Harvard Law School Professor Laurence "Larry" Tribe. During the 4.5 years I worked at Langdell Library on the Law School's campus, Professor Tribe was consistently one of the most enjoyable professors with whom I worked on research projects.

Many an hour, I read his reserve materials (behind our desk) during lulls. Unlike a lot of professors, who could barely be bothered to put one set of reserve materials on file, he always showed consideration for his students, and supplied us with multiple sets, for his students' benefit.

I just saw a commercial in which Professor Tribe endorses Obama, speaking of his grasp of the issues, and how he applies his formidable intellect in real - and meaningfully progressive - ways.

Another http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=4357870&mesg_id=4357870">Harvardian for Obama.

For me, personally, Tribe's is the most salient endorsement yet.

P.S. Over the years, his co-research with other professors on corporate law has been a continuing and ongoing source of new material to help fight the good fight in the corporate governance arena.

1. I met him at a house party last fall.
Too bad I don't know anything about law.

2. That was a great endorsement.

We used Tribe's con law book in law school. He's just excellent. Naturally, this endorsement was dissed as that of an academic nobody cares about (or an endorsement by the guy who allegedly screwed up Bush v. Gore, can you believe it?), but I tried to stick up for Larry: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=132&topic_id=4341234
