LA Times - health care proposal summaries -Obama & Clinton.
from today's paper (Sunday):

Obama:

- supports requiring parents to obtain coverage for children
- supports requiring all employers to provide coverage or contribute to costs, except small businesses
- supports subsidies for low income people

Clinton:

- supports requiring all individuals to have coverage
- supports requiring large employers to provide coverage or pay into a public program
- supports tax credits to working families

BOTH:

- supports public and/or private plans to allow individuals to have plans similar to those Congress has
- support portability of insurance plans
- support expanding Medicaid and SCHIP (state children's health insurance)

3. They both suck. And it's just wrong for Hillary to claim her plan is "universal."
